The Bible is a complicated Bible; it’s wrapped in an ancient context that we don’t live in and it’s written in languages that we don’t speak. This should detract us from gaining understanding! The Old Town Bible College is designed to help non-scholars understand the Bible how an ancient Hebrew and Greek reader would.
Together we will examine the scriptures in their original context and discover what the writers were trying to say.
Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance, to understand a proverb and a saying, the words of the wise and their riddles.
